Directions

In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine the whisky, apricot jam, lemon juice, tea syrup, and bitters. Stir well to blend the flavours. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass filled with fresh ice, then add a splash of soda for a bubbly kick. Finally, garnish with a twist of lemon peel to add a hint of citrus freshness.

Ingredients

  • 30ml South African whisky
  • 1 tsp. apricot jam
  • 15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 30ml rooibos tea syrup (100 ml rooibos tea boiled with 100 ml sugar till sugar is dissolved. Keep cool and store in fridge.)
  • Dash of bitters
  • Splash of soda water
